Classic concert

Born at Sarlat in the Dordogne, Tony Bram’s became from the age of five years the youngest musician of the department accompanying his accordion playing father on the drums. But it was the trumpet he chose later on, first of all at the Academy of Bordeaux, then in Paris, where he played with Joe Dassin, Rika Zarai with Mike Brant. Considered by his peers as the most brilliant trumpet player of his generation, he created in 1972 his compagny, and today it is highly sought after prestigious galas and large fetes. But an artist of Tony Bram’s calibre would not be content with a single string to his bow. The expanding Repertoire attracted him, and Tony Bram’s proposed to introduce in the future a recital of sacred music for the trumpet and organ. To tackle something like this requires a perfect technique and exeptional musical talent.

The transformation was not instantaneous, but developed over time by playing with the greats, because the extreme emotion which one feels listening to the beautiful passages of Shubert, Bach, Purcell or Vivaldi, it needed the rare and unique musical talent to lift us into sacred dimensions.

Tony Bram’s became a select member of a smell circle of great interpreters capable of transporting us into this dimension.
